A Thank You is a win for all involved. Donors feel the direct impact their dollars have made to students. Students become aware that others care enough to help fund their projects (and research shows this helps them become philanthropists themselves). Teachers have a chance to display their passion and their professionalism. ISF is able to raise more funds to endow more projects.
Thank You Cards/Notes now are part of the required evaluation process, and must be submitted by April 3, 2012. ISF strongly recommends, however, that you plan your Thank You project in the midst of, or immediately following, your grant project, while student interest is high. Your help in getting these acknowledgements completed early is greatly appreciated, as the Foundation receives donations throughout the year, and sends your thanks upon receipt.
Below are some recent examples of Thank Yous ISF received from grateful students. Teachers, parents, grandparents, administrators and other interested parties are welcome to add their voices. The cards and notes may be sent out directly, or may be reproduced for Donors. Please see that the students are neat, and careful with their wording.
